£30k - £35k basic + OTE





We have been retained by one of the world’s leading intelligent automation platforms to help grow their UK based sales team. Their award-winning platform allows companies to automate complex decisions and knowledge-work by using artificial intelligence.


They are currently undergoing a rapid period of expansion and to help them achieve this they are looking for a Business Development Representative to join the growing team in either Norwich or London. You’ll play a key part in selling our clients intelligent automation solutions across the UK into various sectors including financial services, professional services, retail, healthcare and others.


You’ll play a critical part in growing my client’s pipeline through the identification of new markets and new prospective clients. Your role will encompass both outbound and inbound business development activities to find and nurture prospects while also delivering 1 to 1 new business meetings for the field sales team.


There is a huge opportunity within this growing start up to quickly move up into a field sales position once you prove yourself, my client prides themselves on promoting within the company and enabling their employees to progress and succeed.


Skills and Experience


  • 2+ years in a new business sales role
  • Experience in cold calling, generating leads and setting meetings for senior sales team members
  • Strong knowledge ideally having sold technology or software solutions to large businesses
  • An interest in emerging technologies such as intelligent automation and AI
  • Tenacious, persistent, hungry and driven to succeed
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with various stakeholders
  • Understand the connection between effort and reward and will bring bags of energy to the office each day.
