Job Description

Python Developer

Start-Up RPA Vendor

$80k - $100k basic

Remote (US based)

Edge Tech are working exclusively with a rapidly growing US-based RPA start-up who have their eyes set on aggressive growth. Their unique focus provides a new approach to RPA which allows companies of all sizes across the globe to leverage the power of automation. Our client designs, develops and deploys virtual workers on their cloud-based platform using an RPA-as-a-Service model so their customers don’t have the burden of having to manage, monitor or maintain this themselves.

Due to their on-going growth, they are looking for a Python Developer to join their high-performing development team on a permanent basis. You’ll be responsible for building end-to-end solutions to automate processes for our client’s customers using Python but also RPA frameworks too.

You’ll need a high attention to detail, good problem-solving skills (as no process automated is the same), strong communication skills working with the internal team and also with customers. As one of the early members in this team you will have the opportunity to grow as the company expands so if you’re up for a challenge with a disruptive start-up in the hottest tech space right now this is for you!

Required skills and experience

  • 5+ years experience of software development/engineering
  • Strong hands-on Python development experience (min 3 years)
  • Experience, exposure and knowledge of RPA tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere (others will be considered)
  • Strong technical understanding having used the following: SQL, JavaScript, .Net, JIRA/Jenkins/Confluence and/or Docker/Kubernetes/Packer
  • A bachelor’s degree in a computer science, technology, engineering or related field

*N.B you must be eligible to work in the US without the need for sponsorship
