Business Development Representative
Start-Up RPA Vendor
$50k - $60k basic + OTE
Edge Tech are working exclusively with a rapidly growing US-based Robotic Process Automation (RPA) start-up who have their eyes set on aggressive growth. Their unique focus provides a new approach to RPA which allows companies of all sizes across the globe to leverage the power of automation. Our client designs, develops and deploys virtual workers on their cloud-based platform using an RPA-as-a-Service model so their customers don’t have the burden of having to manage, monitor or maintain this themselves.
Due to their huge success across the US, they are looking for two experienced Business Development Representative’s to generate leads and build pipeline for the senior Account Executive team with qualified opportunities. Success in this role will lead to internal opportunities in Sales, Client Experience, Partnerships, Strategic Accounts so the ambition for progression and growth is essential.
You’ll be responsible for developing new relationships through outbound sales processes in order to book meetings at a senior-level. You’ll also assess the needs of prospects, using paint points to qualify on discovery calls whilst detailing solutions that can be offered. You will also research accounts and prospects thoroughly, identifying company-wide initiatives, and director-level objectives to formulate an outreach and execution strategy with your Account Executive.
Skills & Experience
- 1-2+ years outbound technology sales experience
- Experienced in lead generation and appointment setting
- Comfortable communicating with stakeholders at senior levels within enterprise companies
- Positive "can-do" attitude, hungry and driven with a desire to hustle and prove yourself
- Knowledge of or an interest in Robotic Process Automation or Intelligent Automation would be an advantage
