$50k - $60k basic + OTE + Equity

Edge Tech is working exclusively with a heavily funded seed-stage, top-tier venture backed Robotic Process Automation (RPA) vendor who are defining a new category in the space. Their unique focus provides a new approach to RPA which allows companies of all sizes across the globe to leverage the power of automation. Our client designs, develops and deploys virtual workers on their cloud-based platform using an RPA-as-a-Service model so their customers don’t have the burden of having to manage, monitor or maintain this themselves.

 

Having recently closed a large round of funding our client is looking to expand further with the appointment of a Business Development Representative (BDR) remotely based in the US.

 

As a BDR you will be responsible for generating leads and a building pipeline of new and well-qualified opportunities. You will completely own the top of funnel sales activities and will assist the Senior Account Executives by setting meetings on their behalf. You’ll also be responsible for developing new relationships through outbound sales processes assessing the needs of prospects, using pain points to qualify on discovery calls whilst detailing solutions that can be offered.

 

You will be comfortable sourcing your own pipeline, qualifying opportunities, and working closely with the Account Executives to close new business. You’ll also be laser focused on achieving weekly & monthly pipeline goals through a maniacal approach to lead generation and opportunity creation.

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • 2+ years outbound B2B sales experience (ideally tech focused)
  • Experienced in new business lead generation and appointment setting
  • Comfortable communicating with stakeholders at senior levels within enterprise companies
  • Positive "can-do" attitude, hungry and driven with a desire to hustle and prove yourself
  • Knowledge of or an interest in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or Intelligent Automation software would be an advantage
