An Intelligent Automation vendor has retained Edge Tech as their lead recruitment partner to help in hiring this critical position into their business. They have recently secured series A funding which saw them land $21 million.

 

Their Python-based open-source stack is completely game-changing and allows users to build, deploy, and scale bots where and when they need them. By making RPA accessible to everyone through open-source technologies and cloud platforms they have set out to change how millions of people work every day.

 

As part of their ongoing success and growth they are now looking to hire a Junior Account Executive into their Sales and Customer Operations team. The purpose of this role is to work with the sales team to develop a robust pipeline of new opportunities through effective sales outreach. You will highlight new opportunities with new customers and existing partners.

 

Responsibilities

  • Generate a consistent, predictable pipeline of new business through proper qualifying of new leads and opportunities
  • Have a sales quota and will be responsible hunting, winning and closing your own pipeline of business
  • Provide ongoing feedback to Marketing, Product, and Senior Management teams on market dynamics, customer requirements, and new opportunities
  • Establish relationships effectively by reaching out into operations and finance departments within the insurance, financial services, healthcare, and other relevant verticals
  • Have the ability to develop strong relationships with senior leaders and C-Suite

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of outbound sales development or closing experience
  • Robotic Process Automation/Intelligent Automation domain experience is a must
  • Experience using prospecting tools such as LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, or Zoominfo
  • High business acumen, well-spoken, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Team player, who is quickly able to adapt to change and thrive, in a start-up environment
  • Previous experience of managing and hitting a sales quota

Having recently closed a round of funding they are looking to expand further with the appointment of an Technical Sales Account Executive into their already successful sales team to drive their new business efforts to small and medium sized enterprises across the states.

 

You will have a background in either Product or Sales Engineering/Pre-Sales and are looking to take the next step in your career to more of a sales focused role (think of it as a technically minded sales expert). You'll be expected follow up on well qualified leads, generate new business by contacting new customers and take clients through the full sales-cycle to closing the deals. Supported by a slick team of marketing experts you will have the resources at your disposal to provide potential customers with all the information they need to make the right decision. You’ll be responsible for leading the integration of our client’s core platform with software robots developed using Python. You will also be responsible for developing the core building blocks and utilities to lead and evolve their product vision. This role has unlimited potential to progress into a company leader as the team grows.

You will be expected to design, build, and maintain Python Libraries and Services used by our client’s automation engineers to integrate and log valuable insights into our digital workers. You’ll also help bridge the gap between automation engineering and platform engineering by owning end-to-end feature implementation.

As a BDR you will be responsible for generating leads and a building pipeline of new and well-qualified opportunities. You will completely own the top of funnel sales activities and will assist the Senior Account Executives by setting meetings on their behalf. You’ll also be responsible for developing new relationships through outbound sales processes assessing the needs of prospects, using pain points to qualify on discovery calls whilst detailing solutions that can be offered.

 

You will be comfortable sourcing your own pipeline, qualifying opportunities, and working closely with the Account Executives to close new business. You’ll also be laser focused on achieving weekly & monthly pipeline goals through a maniacal approach to lead generation and opportunity creation.
